When I press the up arrow key in Excel 2003 my volume control moves down?

For some reason pressing the up arrow in excel ( as in moving around the spreadsheet )
the Volume Control on the machine lowers. It is not affected by down or left or right
arrow keys. Very troublesome problem as I am constantly checking the volume.

Perhaps a macro was installed somehow ? Can I list the macro and then delete the
macro ?
