How to enable slicers on a locked worksheet - Excel 2010

hi there

I'm frustrated! I cant seem to enable the slicers on a locked worksheet in Excel 2010. I need to be able to protect the sheet so users cant change the pivot table structure but they still need to be able to manipulate the slicers and view the data
