Move, delete or copy a toolbar button quickly

To customise our toolbars, we generally need to enter Customize mode. However, we can move or copy toolbar buttons without enabling Customize mode.

To move a button: Display both the source toolbar of the button and the destination toolbar. Hold down Alt and drag the button to the desired location.

To delete a button: Follow the steps above, but drag the button to a location not on a toolbar. A cross will appear next to the mouse pointer when you are not over a toolbar. Release the mouse button before you release Alt.

To copy a button: Display both the source and destination toolbars. Hold down Ctrl + Alt and then drag the new button to the desired location.
